Hi, I’m Tylia. For a while I was convinced I was going to end up in forensic science. I’ve always been the kind of person who notices little details and patterns and wants to figure out how things work. At some point I realized what I actually enjoyed analyzing wasn’t crime scenes… it was layouts.

I’m currently an Associate Art Director at Ogilvy Health, and I graduated from the Graphic & Web Design program at John Abbott College in 2026. I actually started working in design while I was still in school because I wanted real experience as early as possible, and things kind of grew from there.

Since then, I’ve gotten to work across agency, freelance and brand environments, with experience in consumer health, pharmaceutical and animal health, experiential work, B2B and consumer creative. My work has taken me across print and digital, from campaign and social creative to email, live-event graphics and production-ready advertising.

At Ogilvy, I’ve also had the chance to take on a lot more creative ownership, from figuring out the initial visual direction and building out layouts to presenting work, carrying designs across different formats and making sure the details still hold up by the time something is finished.

I’m definitely a details person. I like figuring out why something feels slightly off, whether that’s the hierarchy, the spacing, the type or just one small decision that’s keeping the whole thing from clicking. That problem-solving part of design is probably what I enjoy most.

Outside of design, I’m usually reading, building something in The Sims 4, or rewatching a comfort show with my cat Spotty and my dog Koda.
